Annual Golf Tournament To Benefit Rosie’s Place
On July 25, 2022 the Massachusetts Apartment Association (MAA) hosted their annual golf tournament at The Cape Club of Sharon. This year’s event sponsored Rosie’s Place, a charitable organization known as the first women’s shelter in the country.
Founded in 1974, Rosie’s Place serves as a multi-service community center in Boston. In addition to offering women in need emergency shelter and meals, Rosie’s Place serves as a resource for all women, providing ESOL classes, legal assistance, wellness care, one-on-one support, housing and job search assistance, and more. Rosie’s is funded solely on donations and benefit events like MAA’s annual golf tournament.
